AI Engineer · Agentic AI & LLM Systems
I am a computer engineering graduate working on applied AI and autonomous agent systems. I design agent workflows, developer tools and the backend infrastructure around them. My central question is how AI agents can complete useful work without giving up control of state, credentials or production.
My practical work has been in backend development and production software — Go, Python, TypeScript and Node.js services, React front ends, PostgreSQL and Redis, Docker and CI/CD pipelines. More recently it has included Rust for systems and security tooling.
My current projects bring those interests together: Acthelm coordinates AI agents around persistent operational state and human approval; SigSieve applies least privilege to SSH agent forwarding without moving private keys out of an existing agent.
I care about the parts of engineering that are easy to skip: explicit state, recovery paths, written threat models, tests that fail for the right reason, and documentation that states limitations as clearly as features. The case studies on this site are written in that spirit — each one says what is unfinished.
My AI engineering focus
I work on tool calling and MCP integrations, agent orchestration, task state and recovery, and explicit human-approval boundaries. My AI engineering evidence page links those skills to source code and case studies, and distinguishes tested capabilities from future experiments.
How I work
- Decompose before building. Write the problem, the boundaries and the failure modes down first.
- Keep decisions deterministic where they can be. Use models for the parts that genuinely need judgement, and keep them out of the parts that need guarantees.
- Fail closed. Unknown input, unclear authority and missing evidence are refusals, not guesses.
- Prefer evidence to adjectives. Measured, dated facts over claims; “not verified” when that is the truth.
Research
The research journal collects technical investigations that come up while building systems, each with a stated method and its limitations. It is engineering work, not academic research: I do not hold an academic appointment and none of it is peer-reviewed.
Education
B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Karabük University. Senior project: a performance comparison of network topologies and queueing algorithms using NS-3 simulation (results dashboard).
